Shawn's Craft Barbecue

"Such amazing find! The atmosphere is like a family bbq picnic and the food! That Mac and cheese with brisket topped with Fritos and Pico de Gallo is an mouth watering combination where you get the creamy cheese matching the crunchy of the Fritos. The sweet and sassy sauce just sent it to the next level of flavor. Highly recommend the southwest sauce it has like a sneak for heat on the pallet. Over all an awesome place!"

"We ordered the Jr Sampler but as we were waiting we were informed they were out of Ribs, which was a bummer as both the wife and I were looking forward to those as well. Still plenty of food. We also got the Banana pudding and the Oreo cheesecake. We had a lot of leftovers to enjoy tomorrow."

"Stopped here on a Thursday afternoon. Shawn's has a good selection of barbecue, and plenty of comfy seating. We had breakfast earlier so we ate lite. The honey-spice flavored wings were awesome! Wifey was very happy with her sizable Pulled Pork Quesadilla. Strawberry Lemonade was delish, tho a lil sweet. We'll be back with an appetite."

"Great spot! We aren't local but were craving BBQ and this hit the spot. BBQ (pulled pork) was moist and tasty and portions were large. BBQ could've been smokier but was delicious nonetheless. French fries had a great seasoning on them (ask for a side of ranch to dip them in ). The cherry on top was that the restaurant was extremely clean and well laid out and the service was top notch."

"This Texas girl gives this place a 10/10!! The staff were so nice and the food was so good!! I haven't had good BBQ in a few years and Shawn's definitely reminds me of home!! The ribs and brisket were so tender and juicy. The sauces are so delicious. And that giant cookie, my daughter was so excited. Not the cheapest for dinner, but worth every penny. No pictures cuz it was instantly devoured."

"We stopped in for lunch today. My beef brisket was awesome I normally don.t eat the bun but it was so fresh and yummy. The Brisket is melt in your mouth yummy. Hubby got a full rack which he ate 3 ribs the rest will be dinner . Let's address the the sides i got the southern green beans they were yummy. He got coleslaw and baked beans he ate all the beans but the cole slaw he said tasted like it had cinnamon in it. So I brought that home I will try it later. He also got the yucca fries and let me tell you they were yummy. GET THE YUCCA. Waitress was great I got a banana pudding to go for later. The manager was lovely and walked outside with me. Pricey yes good food yes. Service yes."

"Driving through Culpeper. I googled ribs and this is the closest restaurant I found. It's fast food bbq. Order and pay at counter first and seat yourself after. I was actually looking for something a little bit more customer friendly with full restaurant table service. It's not that. Food came out rather quickly. I got dry rub ribs, fries, coleslaw, roll. Roll is a hamburger bun. Silverware is plastic fork. Ribs were hard to get off the bone and plastic fork didn't do much to help. The house sauce was good and I did use it as a dip. Squeeze packs of ketchup for the fries. I feel like for what I paid I should have got some real silverware, good dinner roll, better service, squeeze bottle ketchup. I will look elsewhere for barbecue when I'm traveling through this area."
